Driver
CHALET DRIVER / PLONGEUR
We are looking for an extremely reliable and capable individual for our
driver / plongeur role. The role requires a level-headed, flexible individual
who is happy with a changing schedule and can work as part of the chalet
team. You need to be physically fit as there are some physical aspects
including snow-clearing when necessary. The role is quite varied but in
the main it will involve:
● Airport transfers for our guests between Geneva airport and Morzine.
● Driving chalet guests to and from the slopes.
● Working alongside the staff in our larger chalet: including helping during
meal times with clearing and washing up.
So you need to be a confident driver and confident of driving a 9 seater
minibus in winter conditions.
You will be an important part of delivering a top quality winter chalet
experience for our guests.

Part Time Work: Chalet Cleaning
We are looking for reliable people to work for us part time mainly on Saturday's plus some extra days such as Sunday's or during the week. Rates of pay are good and you will get most of the week free to spend on the mountain. If you have already paid for your accommodation and lift pass and just looking to top up your social spending money each week then this a job that may suit you. The job involves assisting in chalet and apartment change over's. We want reliable people who can provide the highest quality cleaning as we are renowned for our impeccable standards. You must have cleaning experience, be motivated and able to work alone if required. Own car preferred. Chalet Chef
The Edge is looking for one Chef to work in our two chalets in Morzine. Our chalets are located next to each other in Montriond, 2km from the centre of Morzine. Rooms are sold individually to clients, though approximately 1 in 3 weeks in the season is an exclusive booking. As a premium brand, we offer a superior service and menu. Working within a small team, you would be expected to provide the highest level of customer service as well as meals to remember. This is a great opportunity to have a big impact on a small and developing independent chalet company.
Our chef is required to design and produce a 4-course evening meal 6 nights a week to budget, as well as cakes for afternoon tea. Generally, the menu remains consistent bar the dietary requirements of specific guests. Breakfast is taken care of by the chalet hosts. At full capacity, there will be 24 covers. Chalet hosts will be available to help with preparation during certain hours.
Key Duties:
• Full responsibility for menu plan, including breakfast
• Responsibility for food budget
• Preparation of evening meals, with the help of chalet hosts
• Cakes for afternoon tea
• Canapés for welcome champagne reception (once a week)
• Ordering of provisions and shopping
• Catering for requested dietary requirements
• Kids’ meals where requested (rare for our chalets)

For Winter 2011-12 Mountain Highs are recruiting cleaners to work mainly on Saturdays but also occasional Sundays, as part of a team doing changeovers. Applicants need to be fit and have plenty of stamina, be good at working in a team and be flexible about the tasks required of them. We prefer to employ non-smokers and fluent English speakers.
