Walking in total security For your security… The mountains are a natural setting: there are always risks. There are many different treks that are not technically difficult so don’t follow dangerous routes. You walk at your own responsibility: you must be able to rescue yourselves and those with you. Choose a route within your capabilities and respect the environment: bring back all your rubbish and keep to the marked paths. Be prudent before setting off… • Tell someone (family, host) of your planned route and the time you expect to return. •Make sure you are well-equipped: good walking boots (even for children), warm clothes (it could be windy and cold at altitude), hat and sunglasses, food and drink. | |
