La Grande Terche

One of fourteen resorts that make up the Portes Du Soleil ski area, La Grande Terche has its own separate skiable zone. The venue for the French National ski championships, it is frequented today by more experienced ski & snowboarders due to its steep terrain. Less well known then its neighbours, La Grande Terche is a great choice of mountain for good piste riders who do not like to queue or share a slope with the masses.  There are a number of well shaped and easy pistes for the less experienced and there are ongoing plans and construction in place for new chairlifts. La Grande Terche is also installing new water pipes that will allow snow cannons distribute snow right to the entrance of Telecabine throughout the season.
